Don't waste your time.
I took my two daughters who are in their 20's and we have all owned and shown horses for many years but were on vacation and wanted to take a trail ride in TX. It was suppose to be a two hour ride but after an hour we had enough. We rode with a very nice couple who were beginner riders. There were some spots in the trails that I would not consider beginner because they were steep and the guy's horse only knew to run down the hill and back up the other side. The girl fell off her horse but luckily was not hurt. After an hour we had been over the same trails twice. Right about then the guys horse got his nose pointed toward the barn and broke away from the group and headed for the barn. The girl's horse followed after him and the guide went after them to try and stop the horses and turn them around. That's when I turned to my girls and said I've had enough of this, so we rode to the barn and forfeited the other hour. We told them that we expected a lot more trails and I wanted to tell them what I thought about the lack of training on the horses but I didn't. I was told they have only been doing this for about a year and are still clearing trails.
