"Saints Alive" tour
This is a Women's Club sponsored fund raiser. They highlighted 8 people, learned history and presented it in a wonderful way. Each was in person, dress, action and storytelling of the soul visited. It was interesting to learn some of their local history. Will do this again next year.

If you're into exploring old cemeteries...
...this is one you don't want to miss. The oldest cemetery in one of the older towns in Texas, this one is full of historic burials of early Seguin/Guadalupe County pioneers. Some really nice markers. It's also supposed to be haunted, if you're into that sort of thing. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit dicey, so time your visit during broad daylight hours, and take a friend. Not saying you'll be shot at or anything, but you'll feel more comfortable. Also take the season into consideration. While there are a lot of trees, you'll broil if you visit on a midsummer's day.
