    Decent view & trinkets for sale along the way
    Easy hike, not much to see until you get to the top of the hills, then you can see the winding river and over to Mexico. Along the hike there were handmade gifts like wire beaded animals$5-$10, walking sticks, coin purse, etc. that were for sale. There were cans you could leave cash in, so bring cash if you’d like a handmade souvenir!

    Nice trail near campground
    If you are in Rio Grande Villiage campground, make time for the nature trail. It winds through a small wetland with benches to watch birds at sunrise or sunset. It continues up to an overlook of the river where you can also enjoy a sunset when the cliffs behind are lit up by the setting sun.
