great kids area
The Richardson Library is the ONLY library in the city of Richardson which makes it a great place to go. They have a huge selection of items to check out: movies, audio books, books. They also offer many programs for the community. The children's department is so much fun. It's colorful and interactive. A fun place for photo ops also.

Feel Smarter Here.
Spend quiet time reading in the basement or upper floors. Nice and well-kept. Has a sea of knowledge. I borrowed a book about Costa Rica and took it on the trip with me. I found a swimming dvd that helped me learn swim strokes. Very helpful! How random yet cool! I also go there because it makes me feel smarter. There is nothing bad to say about the public library. Glad it's available.
