Great Ride!
Great experience for new and experienced riders! Dusty and his crew were awesome. They matched me and my kiddos to their horses based on height and riding experience. The horses were very gentle. I had ridden here before with the previous company, but we were taken on new exciting trails. Even their safety helmets were a cut above the others - they were shaped like cowboy hats! I definitely recommend this activity for everyone who loves horses and nature.

Love the trail ride
e trail ride takes you through the McKinney Roughs Nature Park which is beautiful and peaceful. Be honest about your riding experience when making reservations. These horses are better than your typical trail horses that walk nose to butt and have no personality. The staff did a great job pairing each of us with the right tempered horse. Our ride on Annabelle and Duelly was an hour and a half. Our guide was Delaney and she was terrific! Since it was February, the trees were very bare. This ride would be really nice with all the foliage out. Check their website to see what other things they offer. When you go riding, you want long pants and shoes with no open toes. If the weather has been rainy, you might want to wear something you don’t mind getting a bit muddy. You have to go into the corral to get on your horse. They offer step ups if you have trouble getting on the horse. Renegade Trailhead is located just outside of the resort property of Hyatt Lost Pines Resort & Spa.

Fun.
Fun sharing this experience with family. Gentle ride. Horses were well trained and manageable. staff was knowledgeable and friendly, Made memories.
