I was quoted$145 and tax The man arrived in a older Honda and did not provide any kind of ID, when asked. He said you called us, I'm here. He looked at my car and said l can't do it with what l brought with me; have to go back to the shop. Said he'd only be 10 minutes. He returned 30 minutes later with a rubber door stop and wedged it between the door and chaise of car. Hammered it in and used a "coat hanger" to manipulate the door handle inside. 20 minutes later the door was open. He removed my keys from the passenger seat of the car and said " that will be $300.". I asked why? He told me that all car calls were 50% more when they had to return to the shop for special tools. What is so special about a coat hanger? He refused my CAA card, which l had informed them about when l placed the call; I was told at that time they bill CAA direct, they took my membership number and said "No Problem" Held hostage, from my car keys, l said ok l will use my Visa. He said we only take MasterCard! I said l have one of them too. He took out some small black machine, put it in and immediately said my machine is out of the area for connection, l need cash. After another 10 minutes, after he drove me to an ATM machine, and l withdrew cash, l paid him and got my car keys. When l asked for a receipt, l was told they don't issue them for cash service calls. What l did then, and said then: my mother would roll over in her grave. AVOID THIS PLACE
