Nice paved trail

This is more than a trail, it is parks, activities, exercise stations and views the entire route. Great for biking or walking, very busy on weekends. Special place to unwind and relax, great social areas for dogs too, large and small dog parks respectively.

    Nice walking trail
It was nice to get out in what looks like wilderness area this close to home. We only walked about two miles of the trail, but it was convenient and relaxing. Kudos to the city for creating this series of trails.

Great Place To Walk Or Run
The Boorman Trail is one of the most enjoyable places to run or walk, in Longview. With parking at different trail access points, a person can shape the length and duration of their run/walk. The trail, essentially, consists of 2 parts: The North Trail* and the South Trail*. The North Trail is accessed from W Loop 281, at Summers Dr., just East of Heritage Mitsubishi, on the North end. This trail is continuous, without being effected by vehicle traffic for roughly 1.5 miles until it reaches HG Mosley. The trail continues roughly 1.5 miles South to Hwy 80. The portion of the trail is what I refer to as the South Trail. There are access points along the entire trail for parking vehicles. The North Trail tends to stay free of obstructions and standing water, though there have been both during the last couple of months. The City of Longview has done a great job keeping it in good shape. The South Trail has less traffic and more shade throughout the year, but it also has a lower elevation. This lower elevation has left standing water for extended periods of time. As noted in other reviews, there have been issues with items being taken from cars parked at the trailheads, so be diligent by not leaving valuables in your car.
