We enjoyed shopping the town square. We went in about 5 antique stores. Each one was really large and had lots of potential finds depending on what you’re into. Our favorite was the Remember When shop, which was based largely around toys and comic book memorabilia. We arrived on a Saturday around 3pm, and several places had already closed, including a bakery and gift shop. Some of the buildings were empty although their storefronts were staged. Since it was too early for dinner, our options were pretty much limited to antique shopping, which we did have fun doing.

Very lovely town square (one of the best)
We like to visit small towns in Texas, especially the County Seats; thus far we’ve been to more than half of them across the State. The Paris town square is one of the nicest we’ve seen in Texas (the square itself, not the surrounding shops). There are some interesting historic buildings across the street. There was very little outside activity in the square and surrounding streets (and the weather was pleasant).

    Great multiple Antique Stores!!!
Walk the square and visit all the various shops both antiques, home decor, crafts and botiques! Even stop at “107” for lunch. It’s all great. Best shop for us was Hickory Antique Mall!
