Historical Chapel
Beautiful, historical chapel within the walls of Presidio La Bahia. This is where Texans where brought and held captive after the battle of Coleto Creek, awaiting their fate at the hands of the Mexican Army. It is now an active church owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Victoria and stands as a memorial to the men who bravely and dutifully manned its defenses in support of their country.

OUR WEDDING
When my boyfriend and I decided to get married after 5 years together there was no other ceremony choice that LaBahia's Loreto Chapel. It is beautiful, historical, spiritual and such a treasure. Our friends & family were awe-struck by the mural behind the altar and those old, hand-carved doors and stone floors cannot be replicated anywhere else. Reservations are made thru LaBahia office and the staff is very accommodating...Go! If not for a wedding then simply to educate yourself on a bit of Texas history.
