Spectacular with Bluebonnets

If you love old cemeteries as we do, this one is excellent. It's totally spectacular in spring when bluebonnets cover the entire site.

    Historical Graveyard
This is a very nice final resting place for many of the earliest members of the community. This historic graveyard began in 1840 with the burial of four-year-old Josephus Choate, son of Moses Livingston Choate (1794-1867) and Ursula Choate (1807-c. 1880). There is much more for you to discover.

    Haven of Bluebonnets
Interesting at any time of the year, but beautiful during the bluebonnet season. Great place to take pictures. Note the old iron fence that is now inside the tree because during the years it grew around it. Go to the flagpole and note the veterans of the civil war. A little part of history.
