Wow! Best views of the Hill country!!

We started out at a fairly fast pace and then quickly realized we needed to slow down. Over 200 steps but all well worth it! The views from the top were amazing and this ended up being one of our favorite things from our weekend in Wimberley!! Can't believe we had not heard of it on our many previous trips... we will be back!

    Workout to 360 view
    Nice workout to 360 view at the top. 218 steps from my reading. We met several locals using this as part of their workout routine on way up & down. Windy at top but welcoming breeze to cool down. This is in a neighborhood with few nice home being developed. No entrance fees & about 6 parking spaces off the road in front on steps.

    Big climb
    We climbed the 220 steps recently. Being from flat country the climb looked challenging for us 70+ year olds. We were so glad that there were handrails because about 2/3 way up it does seem a bit high and I felt wobbly. Along the way there are painted rocks with encouraging messages until at the top one says "You made it and you didn't die." Great 360 degree views at the top. Definitely worth it!
