    Interesting view of Nacogdoches history
I do not know if there are any guided tours of the cemetery or not, but my friend just went one afternoon. We spent a couple of hours looking for, and at, tombstones from the days of Texas Independence. Very interesting to see the tombstones/monuments of people involved in Texas fight for independence. Fairly well kept cemetery but no place for water if you go on a hot day so take your own - there is little shade.

    Historical cemetery is very interesting
Several signers of the Tx Declaration of Independence are buried here, first secretary of war, Texas first millionaire, and many more. Make sure you either read ahead of time the history or pick up some info at the visitors center so you know what you are looking at. Very interesting place with so many of our early leaders and settlers buried here. Takes about 1.5 hours to walk around and see the highlights.
