Excellent museum

This museum was worth the two hours we spent reading about the history of the border patrol and seeing actual vehicles that were used to protect our borders. The Border Patrol is so incredibly important and after touring this museum, I have a much greater understanding. Well worth taking the time to see.

    Borderland Enforcement History on Display
This is no ordinary museum. From your first step in you know you are looking at over 100 years of Border Patrol history. Each exhibit is well documented and the artifacts are identified and described much like they are at any Smithsonian Institution museum. They even have a decommissioned patrol helicopter on display. Confiscated weapons and homemade rafts are displayed with explanations of their use and origins. Although small in comparison to other museums, there is quite a bit packed into this museum. Admission is free.

Interesting place with a minor flaw
This is a very interesting museum. Small, but the exhibits are good enough to make up for. The only problem is that you can tell its all volunteer/low budget. Most of the signs are simple printer paper taped to the wall. I supposed it shouldn't matter as the content is all very good. Still highly recommended.
