A Must

wow! What a museum! We went as a family and it was a very good opportunity to explain to my children about the Holocaust, since there is a Museum dedicated to this inside. We also really liked the sculptures outside in Via Dolorosa, recreating the Viacrusis. The jewish museum was very interesting and above all we loved discovering the Argentine artist in front of the Mural of the Resurrection that stole all our admiration.

Christian and Jewish art and artifacts!
For anyone interested in religious art, this is a museum you will enjoy. There are rotating exhibits from a variety of artists, so what I experienced today may differ from your experience. Currently, there is an Andy Wahol exhibit of 25 individuals Warhol celebrates as being influential in the Jewish community-past and present. There is also a "Holocaust Through Art" exhibit that celebrates upstanders and their sacrifices to help Jews during the Holocaust. These individuals have been named "Righteous" by Yad Vashem, and their contributions are tastefully presented. Additionally, there was a gallery of bronze impressions on loan from Florence, Italy of some of Michaelangelo's most famous religious works. Outside, there was a small sculpture garden of contemporary pieces walking visitors through the Crucifixion. Overall, this was a nice museum that celebrated both the Christian and Jewish faiths through art and artifacts.

Outstanding - plan to visit when in Dallas!
Outstanding in every way! Beautiful art from both the Jewish and Christian faiths which are presented in a complementary way to one another. The Holocaust exhibit was very moving and thought provoking. The museum was very safe in terms of social distancing and their Covid-19 safety measures. Our visit there was the highlight of our trip. It is conveniently located north of downtown Dallas. Highly recommend it.
