Learn About the Stars Above Abilene
The Morgan Jones Planetarium is a great way to spend an hour with your family and learn about the stars and planets we can see in the sky above Abilene. It conducts weekly shows on Tuesday evening with various themes. The cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The gentleman that facilitates your visit is knowledge and makes the subject matter exciting for all ages.

    Best Kept Secret in Abilene
We attended the January Saturday program "Strange Aliens." It was well produced and provided a wonderful and educational overview of the potential of life in the stars. The planetarium is a great resource for the students of Abilene schools, but it also a wonderful family learning experience offered a couple times a month...one Tuesday and one Saturday programs each month. It is well worth the $2 (children) and $3 (adult) admission fee. There are some interesting displays in the lobby to explore and the the planetarium director is always friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and glad to share hie expertise.
