Not worth the money for what we got to do
Moody Gardens is an educational conservation center revolving around nature and wildlife. You can enjoy an interactive experience with endangered animals and plants at the Rainforest and Aquarium Pyramids. Catch a show with the kids at the 3D and 4D theaters or check out the Discovery Museum. End the day onboard the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, complete with dinner. The best time to visit is at year-end, when the park comes alive with a mega holiday celebration—complete with ice skating and exclusive holiday shows. Iceland and Festival of Lights
For me, Iceland just is not enough to justify the price as a stand-alone attraction. $35/$29 for 20 minutes is too much for what you get. Although I truly appreciate the artistry and effort it took to create this, it will be a one-time visit for us. Because we also went to the Festival of Lights, my suggestion is to offer Iceland as an add-on at a reasonable price. If folks just want to do Iceland, then charge the larger fee. The Festival of Lights for a second year was a wonderful repeat experience. I truly appreciate all the benches throughout so that we can sit and really take in the beautiful shows. Really loved it. Overall, our experience was wonderful. Every time I called with a question, there was a human being who answered the phone in a remarkably short time and provided accurate information. Hats off to these great agents.

Nice Fun Day
Our visit to Moody Gardens was enjoyable. The Aquarium was nicely done although a bit smaller than we expected. We have been to quite a few aquariums and this one is a bit behind the Aquarium in Gatlinburg and even the Omaha Zoo. We liked the Rainforest area a bit more and it was very enjoyable to watch the birds fly around freely. The paddle boat, included in the combo ticket, did not sail the day we visited so we were disappointed by that but overall I would recommend a visit!
