Beautifully preserved buildings in a lovely setting
We took a walk around the "village" and were able to walk into the buildings and see the displays of a time gone by. The gift shop is well stocked with tempting items to bring home. We were happy to pick up useful gifts knowing we were supporting such a beautiful endeavor. Chris at the gift shop was informative and gave us a detailed history of the buildings and people behind them, especially its founder, Mrs. Millard. We would definitely go back and are thinking about supporting this living history museum on a regular basis.

    Impressive Spot in Nacogdoches!
I am a huge fan of old houses and this place was amazing! From Log Cabins to Victorian style. You can walk from home to home after checking in with a $4 donation. Each home was filled with pieces from the tome period. You get to self guide at your own pace. Highly recommend @
