Visit

The distillery is located on the outskirts of Blanco and is a great day-trip destination. Leave the bumper-to-bumper traffic and urban sprawl behind to unwind with us while surrounded by great people and amazing whiskey in our oak tree grove. Sample our spirits and cocktails in our tasting room or under our large old oak tree. Pack a picnic on a beautiful day or call ahead to see if we have a visiting a food truck parked on site. We often have live music too! We are dog-friendly and kid-friendly as long as there is adult supervision. Please contact us by phone or email to arrange visits of parties of 6 or more. Fun afternoon event
After several bad reviews on Trip Advisor, I think they got it right. We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable hostess who had us test 2 good whiskeys. They had a good band on Saturday and food. We had a great time setting under the trees with a good drink, listening to the band. Our daughter has a ranch in Blanco and we visit often and will be back at Ben Milan to set under the trees. Well worth a stop when in Blanco

    Fine for a quick drink
Nice old-fashioned. Decided to go out for a rare Saturday afternoon date in an overcast day. Wasn’t able to ask any questions as tasting room was very crowded, had long line and one server mixing drinks. Bussed our own table to find a seat in overflow room which was otherwise filled with a family group with multiple young children. Main room seating in use by larger groups who were mainly on their phones. Live music playing loudly inside, making conversation impossible. Whiskey was good, but it otherwise was a $36 15 min outing after a 45 minute drive. Not what I was expecting at all for a place with a specialized offering.. Maybe with a try on a less busy, sunny day, but this wasn’t special for us today.
