Founded on the cornerstones of family, tradition and romance, Messina Hof Winery & Resort has held its place as a Brazos Valley staple since its founding in 1977. It is the estate winery where the Messina Hof winemaking team crafts our world-class wines. Messina Hof had humble beginnings as founders, Paul Vincent and Merrill Bonarrigo ran the lab, tastings, etc right out of their living room. Our current Tasting Room, also known as the Guest Center, was the rebuilt home that wa originally the Ursuline Academy, which was an all girls school. The original brick from the home was used to build the Tasting Room that guests can still see today.

Fascinating, Informative and Enjoyable
Messina Hof Winery Tour was excellent Alana and Charlotte were our tour guides. Both of the young ladies were very knowledgable, professional and very entertaining during our tour visit. Learning about Meryl’s and Paul’s story and their Winery makes even more of a loyal customer. The restaurant was also a great place to eat brunch prior to our tour Josh our server was great as well. We enjoyed our visit to Aggieland as a former student it was a great homecoming. Thank you to Alana, Charlotte (she was in training) and Josh.

This is for Relaxation and Enjoyment!
From beginning to end a great visit. Very relaxed vibe. Small menu of noshes to have with the wine. You can have the $16.00 sampler or go a little higher for the premium sampler. Neither one will disappoint. And you get to keep the souvenir glass. What a variety. Delicious and satisfying for any wine lover.
