Lost Pines Art Center, Texas, United States

4.5 (14 reviews) Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #11 in Bastrop Art Galleries

Surprisingly good - wide variety of interesting art.

We visited with our 11 and 13 y/o granddaughters who are budding artists. They went over every inch of the displays. Much of the art was for sale - I was very tempted by several. It doesn't take long to tour and is worth a stop.

    Great ART venue!
Lots of local artists and others from near Central Texas. Friendly members to show you around and tell you about the different Galleries The Art Center location once housed an old mill. Silos behind the center will be re-purposed for art forms that need to be outside of the center like glass and pottery. It's full of color, light and great ART. Come visit. It's open Sunday through Saturday and has a great little winery and coffee shop, Blessed Bee. There are scheduled DIY art projects in which the public can participate and also classes available. I took an alcohol ink class. It's family and kid friendly. Check out their website: lostpinesartleague.org. And if you're an artist, sign up, become a member

    Beautiful Venue with Local Art
This venue has been open since December 2016. It was the brainchild & dream of the local artist guild. They've done a fabulous job. We stumbled across this gem while visiting historic Bastrop during our 2-week swing through Texas. Well worth a visit.
