Great place to hang in Austin
Live Oak is one of the best local breweries in Austin. It’s close to the airport, off of Hwy 71, but hidden away in a park-like setting. The tasting room offers several selections, and samples are available. The beer is always good, the Hefeweissen is excellent! Very popular with locals and tourists, definitely worth a visit.

Live Oak Tree area is stunning
Live Oak lives up to its name with a beautiful setting and area to drink beer among the old Live Oak Trees. This is a cool environment. The tap room is roomy. The outside tables are a perfect place to enjoy mother nature. Beers tend to be lighter and yellow, although there were a couple of darker variety. Mostly low ABV. Live Oak Beer would be very tasty in the hot Texas sun. Recommend stopping by when you are on the way to or from the airport. It is also worth a special trip for beer lovers.

Absolutely love this place. Nice air conditioned sitting area and spacious out door area. They have food trucks on most afternoons. Been here several times and never a bad experience. They normally have a large selection of their own beers. All brewed to German standards. Place is right by the airport. Stop in and enjoy
