    Fun and interactive
Ended up here after plans for the zoo and butterfly garden fell through due to heat and traffic. Turned out to be a great choice. Brought my daughters (11 and 8) and my sister brought her son (6) and daughter (3). Despite the range of ages, everyone had lots of fun. The staff was very friendly and took time to explain the set up/concept to the adults. After that, they turn you loose and you are free to do any of the experiments in the binder provided. All ingredients and supplies are readily available at the various workstations. The instructions (all laminated) are easy to follow. The staff even cleans up after you, so you are free to move on to your next experiment. We chose the one hour option and the time flew by. I would recommend the 2.5 hour option, the price difference is minimal. Adults are free with a paid child. Definitely would visit again.

    Suburban Houston with small children
It was difficult to find an attraction in the suburbs. Little Beakers was perfect for a five year old and his grandmother. The space is arranged with stations named for scientists like Curie, Tesla, Faraday, etc. Participants pay a fee based on the length of time you want to spend there. We spent ten dollars for an hour. All participants donned lab coats and safety glasses and were given a notebook. In it were pages of experiments arranged by stations. An adult is definitely needed to read directions, help with finding and measuring. Every experiment we tried worked as described.
