    Emergency Quick Stop
While driving to Laredo to attend a family gathering, my great granddaughter had to use the restroom. She stated there was no way she could wait to get to the gas station. It then that to my left we were passing the tourist bureau before you enter Laredo, Texas that I had never visited. We stopped and to my amazement, it was so beautiful and very clean. The restroom stalls were fully equipped with its needs and an the soap dispensers were full. Outside they have vending goodies machines as well as a historical account of Laredo. An attendant is there to answer questions and did execute her responsibilities with excellent customer care. All in all, it is a great safe place to stop and stretch your legs before reaching your destination.

Why is this called a Convention and Visitors Bureau?
The directory for Laredo doesn't have ANY photos and completely eliminates all of the shops in the downtown historic district. Their website is a joke. How did this even get on the 15 best things to do in Laredo??? Puh-lease!
