Weekend with the siblings
We rented the 2 bed 2 bath Cabin #16 up on the ridge up and overlooking their marina. We were away from the main campground - good for us because we were not quiet and didn't wish to disturb others. The cabin was very roomy and well decorated & clean. The marina itself needs alot of work ... most of the docks were closed and needed work. Needs a fishing pier. But they do have an indoor fishing area by the store. The boat ramp is a bit tricky to get the boat in and out - you have to go at an angle. I didn't meet the staff but my sister did and they were very friendly ... we had to call a few times to check on this or that they were very helpful there too. I would recommend this campground for a family get away like ours.

Has been ruined by Tornado
fishing barge and boat slips were demolished by a tornado on 1/15/2017. At one time this was a very good place to store your boats

Beautiful lake-horrible place to stay
If there was a zero star, that’s what this place would be. Stayed 9/17-19/21 at RV and my son/family had 1 room cabin. Took us over an hour to level our RV. The RV sites need a lot of work! Sites either have 30 or 50 amp not both. We moved because there was not 1 tree in the site we assigned. Bathroom was ok. Door was screen with latch. The cabins bed was beyond nasty! Stains and torn sheets. So dirty we pray it’s not bed bugs!! Comes with bed/bedding, bunk beds placed in like closet area and futon in living area, small kitchen table, stove, refrigerator, microwave and trash can/bag. No pillows, towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies. Way too expensive for what you get. No info on website to know this. Had to hunt for a dumpster. On positive, people are friendly and marina is nice.
