Fun place to campout
Lake Bastrop is a beautiful and fun place to camp, fish, kayak, and even bird watching. You would need at least 3 days of camping to go see all the activities and even visit downtown Bastrop. Each campsite also has water and power available. You can also bring a trailer and a boat at the dock.

Tiny treasure hiding just east of town.
This tiny lake has parks at its north and south entrances. Camping sites, rv spaces, anc cabins for overnight stays. The bath house are well maintained. Plenty of picnic sites and swimming beaches make this a fun family stop.
