    Irving Arts Center
We recently attended the musical Anything Goes with another couple, this was the first time we had been to the Irving Arts Center. This was a wonderful surprise, the auditorium was nice size, I thought the venue was just the right size for plays or musicals, just close enough to see faces and expressions. I thought our seating in the balcony was very nice and we could see everything on stage. The cast was great and the music was exceptional. We all had a good time, looking at the upcoming plays, I am sure we will return.

    Neat, older theater.
Attended a performance of the Irving Symphony here. The theater is older but has a good atmosphere. Small lobby, large art museum display. Inside the seating is ranked well. I didn't see a bad seat anywhere. The aucustics were very impressive for the orchestra; needing no amplification. The location is a bit of the beaten path. In fact, the art center's slogan is "worth the drive." I suspect they have a challenge pulling people in. It is that place that is 25+ min from everywhere. I did think it was indeed worth the drive.
