Iron Bridge Park

My husband and I visited iron Bridge Park in mid April. At that time, there was no one else visiting the park. There was a worker who was weed whacking the grass, and actually did a pretty good job. The park is on the Leon River which could flood during rains. The road is not very good and the restrooms are primitive, but they are usable. There was very little evidence of the bridge.

    Homeless living in park
My husband and I went to Iron Bridge Park on a Tuesday afternoon in November. It is a small park along the Leon River. There was not much left of the old Iron Bridge. The park has a few old concrete tables. The restrooms were in a building raised a foot off the ground and with open gables. The restrooms had outhouse toilets, no plumbing, no sinks. The road is in poor condition. There was quite a bit of trash on the ground. There were a few homeless people living in the park. We did not feel safe so we stay only 5 minutes.
