First time on a Jet Ski
We decided to celebrate our anniversary doing something different. We rented Jet Skis for an afternoon. We had a great time! The owner of Indian Hills Boat Rentals got us all set up and ready to go. He reviewed how to operate the Jet Ski (simple) What to do if something goes amiss (also simple). Where to go the lake is huge we stayed in the bay where the rental company is located. We were there mid week so there were not many other boats on the lake. We had a blast zooming around we each had a hat blow off but were able to recover them. Great fun and does not require any great skill. You can go as fast or as slow as you want. Would recommend to anyone.

70th birthday fishing trip
We took a fishing trip one week after Hurricane Harvey. It was my Dad's 70th birthday. Tried to catch some catfish, but I guess all the freshwater that had run into the lake from the storm had the fish off their routine. We enjoyed the time together anyway. We rented a boat from Indian Hills boat rental. They were nice folks and treated us well. Overall we had a good time. We ate afterwards at the restaurant nearby and the food was good.

Proceed with caution!
This place would be fine if weather isn't an issue. The owners are super nice. If there is ANY chance that the weather could turn, don't rent. We booked a boat prior to our trip. Woke up early to white caps. Appreciate the owner holding off on the rental to observe the weather. When we finally got the green light to go, we were out for about 40 minutes before we had to return due to incoming storm. The owner gave us the option to take the boat out again if weather cleared. Unfortunately, the weather never cleared. Owner charged us $250 for 40 minutes of use. My low rating is because of the charge. I would expect a bigger refund but I am sure there is something in the fine print that covers this.
