This is the tour of the missions that you need to take!

This is the only tour of the missions that you should consider. After carefully looking at all the missions tours available, I picked this one for our first trip to the San Antonio area. We wanted to learn about history of the missions and be able to see as much as possible. We booked it with Shelly and she made sure that we had our tour, on time, picking us up at our hotel, giving us the details of the history of the missions, along with updated interesting details about the missions since their beginning. At each stop we were in awe to be walking along these pathways. Shelly's professionalism and knowledge made this historic tour of the missions one we will never forget. She was also able to drop us off at our next planned stop and give us some advice for a lunch stop. (Which was excellent!)

A Wonderful Tour of the San Antonio Missions!
After the Alamo there were 4 other missions just outside of San Antonio and this is a great way to see them. It's a 1/2 day van tour with a terrific and helpful guide. Shelley was our guide and she told us all the history about what we were seeing and even provided us with cold bottles of water. She picked us up and dropped us at our hotel in the downtown area. Make reservations on line or call them. It was a great experience. Don't miss the missions! www.historictexastours.com

    Informative, and great value
I completely agree with previous reviewers. I took this tour last week and found it fascinating. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that we were well looked after. His blend of historical and local knowledge gave us a real feel for the missions and their place in the local community, as well as their history. Lots of interesting stories, a reasonable price, pick up and drop off at central location. This tour was a cut above many tourist offerings.
