Very cool and exciting. Horses and wagons everywhere. Bring a chair and a cooler. They have food and merchandise vendors.

A Day at the Races
Had fun coming here last year with my family. We were new to the area and this was probably one of our first impressions of East Texas. From what I did see, everyone participating, whether racing, vending, or simply spectating, all had a great time. Looking forward to seeing it again this year!

Nice surprise
I’m local and I found this by accident and was amazed that there were people that came from many different states! The wagon races were so exciting and it was really down home where contestants would talk to you and explain the process. Everyone was really friendly, there were vendors, people riding around on horseback and people camping and picnicking. I was only there one day, great atmosphere.
