Beautiful hike in a state park
A perfect walk in the park! My travel partner and I wanted a day activity during our brief vacation to San Antonio, and, being new to this part of the country, wanted to see the surroundings. This park did not disappoint! Very friendly staff with practical information, mostly well marked trails and the perfect distance for a hike. We went to a view up a hill and it was lovely vista indeed, with country new to us. We felt very satisfied after the almost 4 mile hike. I would only say that, for experienced hikers, what they said was strenuous was really not so much!

Ride with Outlaw Outfitters
This is a beautiful place. We were there in during spring break and it wasn’t too crowded. We rode a few trails throughout the park with Outlaw Outfitters. It was a terrific experience. I highly recommend Tawni with Outlaw Outfitters. Her horses are in great shape and clearly well cared for, which is important to us. And Tawni was a great tour guide through the park.
