Fun stroll

Saw these park mentioned on the TV show, Daytripper, on an October 3, 2020, episode about Lampasas and decided it would be a fun spot to plan a visit to. On Friday, March 12, 2021, we stopped on our road trip to The Grand Canyon. We were the only visitors around noon and enjoyed the sculpture variety and uniqueness. Sculptures are spread throughout the park area. Picnic tables are located in the park as well as a butterfly garden. Worth the stop and a chance to stretch our legs. Park sculptures especially the catfish on the truck is mentioned on Roadside America.

    Sidewalk winds around the sculptures
We visited the park midweek. There was a little parking lot right near the park pathway. The pathway is a sidewalk that winds around past the different sculptures. There are some trees but most of the walkway isn’t shaded. There are a couple of concrete picnic tables too. The art work was creative and fun and it was neat to be able to touch or even get on it for a photo.

    sunday trip
Nice community park to go for a stroll. Lots of sculptures displayed on the property/ The catfish in the truck is the most entertaining. Park is also the location of a large spring situated in the center of park. Spring is closed to public though. There is a nature park across the street so it is an excellent place for a morning walk
