A Great Place to Visit if You Can Find Parking...
I really wanted to check out the Gruene Historic District the last time I was in New Braunfels, but the parking was impossible. I was there on a Friday. I would recommend trying to go earlier in the week if you're wanting to actually park and walk around.

    Great place to visit
Visit area several times per year but recommend you avoid holiday times (Memorial, Labor Day, 4th etc.) as the crowds make it very difficult to get around. Go in the Spring and Fall time periods.
