Arts and a beautiful library
I liked that Georgetown Texas Public Library. They liked the arts. Outside there are small fountains and two statues: a boy and a girl playing. Inside the library, there are lots of arts; paintings and statues. The library is huge! There are so many books and the librarians can find anything quickly. Wow! Worthwhile to see!

The Jewel of Georgetown
Like no other our Georgetown Texas Public Library has won national awards. It is always filled with local artist displays inside and out and the staff really cares about your experience in their library, and they look and act like it daily. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and more than willing to help you. The Children's area is a delight with a full-sized mock-up of a jeep that the kids love to explore and spend time in, and a huge room filled with toys for playing, books to read and loads of rental videos. At different hours there can be story hour, kids reading to dogs and many other planned events. Schedules are at the main desk. Unfortunately the coffee shop in the back of the first floor closed during the pandemic, but another one is in the works. Georgetown Library is right off the square on 8th. St. with parking on 8th. and 9th.
