In the Middle of Nothing, There's This!

As we passed through Eden we saw the sign and just had to stop...who knew? The town has put together an oasis and lovely walking garden aptly named "Garden of Eden". Its clear the vision was to help everyone stop and "smell the roses" while journeying through the town. Do yourself and your senses a favor; slow down and stop by as you pass through too! I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Nice stop on a long drive
Nice stop to stretch your legs during a long drive through Texas. Worth 15-30 minutes to check out a well put together garden. Water features are a plus.

Lots of neat trees and flowers
We took a short walking break here and were treated to a very peaceful and beautiful spot. Dirt/grass paths wind through tree and flower groups with benches to rest placed under shade trees. Plaques describe the variety of flowers found here. Only downside was that Paarl of the path was wet and muddy. Can now tell people we have been to the Garden of Eden...
