    Solid arcade with a bar
So what to do on a scalding hot day in the Dallas suburbs... try out the latest retro arcade of course. My son and I made our way to this old strip shopping mall where Free Play has set up shop. 10 bucks to get in, all the games you can play, along with a cold beer or other beverage and light food options. First the games, the reason you go, all were in working order, had to wait a couple times to play what we wanted but everyone was in a sharing mood so other than a dad and his young son who hogged the Gauntlet game the entire 3 hours we were there, it was great. If you have a favorite 80s or 90s video game I'm pretty sure it's in this place. Drinks were cold, food wasn't bad either. Grab a 20 dollar bill and go play games and have a couple drinks, you'll have a good time. Side note, check the website as they kick out kids at like 9 or 10 at night on weekends so it becomes adults only, which is a great idea!

    Cool place but...
So if I wasn't in town visiting and didn't have one of these similar in Ohio, I'd say it cool and a good time...but we do have something like this in Ohio and there is no $10 cover charge... just a quarter charge for pinball machines and paying for drinks.... so yes, cool but don't go if you're swinging by for a drink and to check it out....
