    Aztec Caves Trail Is Challenging
As Dennis R mentioned in his review from November this trail is rated as moderate level and good for kids. After reading reviews my friend and I felt confident we could handle it. I'm an active senior with regular walking, hiking, cycling and horseback riding. My friend 30's, is also active and fit. On the flat areas it's easy to walk on the large loose rocks. As the incline increases it becomes difficult to get a foothold as even large rocks are loose. I fell down twice on the descent and my friend once. There is rebar projecting out of some of the wooden plank reinforcements. The wooden bridge was shaky and questionable. Agree that children under 10 would need assistance unless quite agile and athletic. It's a beautiful park and the caves are fun to explore with a great view looking outward so I'm rating 4 stars. Be aware of potential for falls and use caution if you break easily!

Good hike but useless trail map and markings
Nice park for a quick hike or long one depending on your time and fitness level. I picked a short hike due to limited time. This was during January and the weather was cool, not hot or not cold. Any good hike would get you sweating though! The only bad thing about this place was the Trail Map provided. To me, it was pretty bad, I could not make sense out of it. I spend a good time driving around searching for my chose hiking spot. Eventually I figured it out, but the map was USELESS. The sunset was pretty too, depends where you are, you can get pretty shots.
