Beautiful Sculpture Garden!

This cemetery has the beautiful Spence Memorial Peace Garden sculpture by Santa Fe Artist Kirk Tatum. The sculpture is a large wall with carved persons representing all of the peoples of the world. There is a lovely sitting area and four smaller sculptures of dove. The cemetery is also very historically significant with many of the key figures and families of Greenville buried here. One of the notable graves is that of Edgar Ablowich a Greenville native. Ablowich won a gold medal in track at the 1932 Olympics held in Los Angeles. The cemetery has a small covered area and good roads. It is adjacent to the Wright Park golf course.
