Family Fun
Very well done historical park, adjacent to Memory Garden. Tour guide inside was extremely gracious and informative. Several little old buildings and structures to see. Beautiful path around a pond. Although there is a picnic table, it is in an exhibit, so we went to a nearby park (Cedar Brake Park) for a picnic afterwards. There are large fish in the pond....they happened to be full the day we went but always fun to feed the fish and watch the turtles. Donations welcome, but free.

In the heart of Montgomery
So glad we found this place. It was nice spending a couple of hours walking through the park and looking at the old homes. Only the first one was open. The rest were locked up but we could see inside through the windows. We also went down the little path past the houses that led to the park. Such a beautiful area with a pond and benches. All of this is free but they do have places around the park to make donations. We will return when it's cooler weather. I think it will be more enjoyable at that time.
