A little trip down memory lane
Saw where my great grandfather lived. Pretty nice Museum. Lot of interesting things to see. Plenty of information on the history of the quaint little town.

A gathering of Sons of the Republic of Texas
Joined members of the SRT for a meeting and tour of the museum and library. An exceptional facility that contains a lot of history and interesting artifacts. I would recommend that both local residents and visitors stop by and learn a lot about the Fayette County people and area.

Great variety of choices
I went for the first time with my grandchildren ages 6 & 7 . They were offering a summer reading program for the children. It was wonderful! They had the police, fireman & EMS put on a nice class for the kids. Then everyone went outside to see the ambulance, fire truck & police cars. The library also had story time . There is a wide variety of books and DVDs to choose from for all ages. The children enjoyed making projects as well as getting stickers & certificates for the books they read. The staff is very nice and helpful of your needs & have a number of computers you can use. Upstairs is an interesting display of the history of LaGrange & Fayette County. The children enjoyed their visits so much, whenever they come visit Grandma & Grandpa they want to go to the library!
