The Courthouse

I visited San Diego, Texas to check the block on my bucket list. i had known the town existed for many years. I am from San Diego, California. Two more contrasting towns cannot be imagined. Over the years the courthouse has been the scene for much historical drama as the ebb and flow of politics and crime. No need to spend much time there. San Diego itself had little to offer for other attractions.

this place is a historical building and still standiing dividing the counties of duval and Jim Wells..
this place is ok but could use a face lift. It is a very old building I feel it could be renovated some.

A historic building worth noting while driving through town.
One of many historic courthouses in Texas. I can not imagine stopping and touring this working building, but it was pleasant to notice it while driving past it. If you read the history of politics in Duval County, and the power that flowed through this courthouse, it becomes a fascinating place to see.
