Good outdoor space

We came for a tasting, no reservations required. They offer 6 wines for $20. We each selected 6 different wines so by sharing were able to try 12. The couple next to us split a tasting which is also a great idea. There aren’t any crackers, bread or water offered while tasting so keep that in mind. Because we tasted 12 wines we wound several we liked and purchased 6 bottles. By purchasing 6, we saved 10% plus a credit on one tasting ($20). We purchased one glass of wine to share to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful property and view. Many people just came, purchased a bottle of wine and sat outside to enjoy. We got to keep the stemless glass that came with the glass of wine purchase with their logo on it. It was late afternoon on a Saturday and only waited 5 minutes to get in for tasting and still plenty of space outside to sit. Would definitely come back to taste again or just sit and enjoy a bottle and the views!

    In town for a tasting
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for a wine tasting. We pulled in to the parking lot noticing crowds of happy tasters. We got in line and were greeted by a very brash and loud woman who was clearly not trained in hospitality. She was very curt and not welcoming. But honestly, everyone was having a great time and not being turned away due to her rudeness. We had a great tasting with our server, Anne from Denmark- very attentive and courteous, with nice conversation. The wine was good and we did have an enjoyable visit. The grounds are absolutely fabulous and beautiful and outdoor seating is so relaxing and nice. We will come back and visit, and in the meantime, hopefully Miss Unsociable Greeter will have received better training on her people skills.

    Weekday Visit
The wine by the glass was mini-sized but full-priced (their stemless glasses were dinky, and the photo shows the full pour before we had even a sip). However, it was delicious. You don't even get to keep the glass. The ready-made sandwich was turkey loaf rather than roasted turkey, so it reminded me of a convenience store Sammy, but the price was gourmet. You can no longer bring a picnic to enjoy with their wine, so you're stuck with what they're offering. Weekdays their bistro is closed, so you can only buy their prepackaged sandwiches and salads. The view is amazing! The day we went it was very windy and chilly, but there was no indoor space to sit (wise covid precautions, but I mention it so you think about the weather if you go). I'd been here about dozen times before and always loved it, but sadly I doubt I'll go back since we felt so burned by the high prices for what we got.
