A popular Waco attraction

A museum dedicated to the nation's oldest major soft drink - Dr Pepper! We offer three floors of exhibits featuring information about many different soft drinks, as well as a carefully curated selection of our massive soft drink memorabilia collection. Exhibits change regularly! You can visit our soda fountain and gift shop any time without paying admission. Photo ops outside the Museum include a Dr Pepper Green 1940s delivery truck, one of three original neon signs from the Mockingbird Plant in Dallas, and a hand-painted advertising sign original to the site. Of course the front of the Museum building itself is visitors' favorite photo location. We are a two block walk from Magnolia Market and the famous silos, and about half a mile from the newest restaurants including Torchy's Tacos and In-N-Out Burger.

    I'm a Pepper now!
We were traveling from out of state and knew we had to stop for an hour or 2 at The DP museum. We are BIG fans of DP and loved hearing the stories of how it started, the well, and the marketing of it. There were several levels and stairs to climb (and I forgot to get info on handicap access or elevators) but we had fun. Wish we could buy it by the keg or jar, but we spent $$$ in the gift shop. Its @$10 per person and there is a small soda shop at the end of it all. (Tbh the sample at the end was a let down for my taste buds) Worth taking the whole family

    Underwhelming
I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I found myself underwhelmed. I was not crazy about the museum layout and I would’ve like a more historical guide through Dr. Pepper’s history and invention. The gift shop was a little on the pricey side and I was even charged for an item that I didn’t purchase. Since she didn’t give me a receipt but only emailed it to me, I didn’t find out until I was home about the overcharge. All in all I was underwhelmed. My 13 year old liked the ice cream float and loved a Dr. Pepper candle that I bought her. I wouldn’t return.
