I Shall Return
I remember driving by ol' "D Mac" many times as a child. I would always stare out the rolled down window in our station wagon as we approached hoping to catch a good view of his statue in front of the Academy. Then, now, always; MacArthur is on a mission, a mission of freedom. Judging by the look of this man alone, I'm surprised the Japanese held out as long as they did. Inside the hall, you'll find fantastic artwork and murals made by the best artisans to ever grace Brown County. If you've never been there, it's worth a look. If you have been, it's worth a trip down memory lane to revisit that childhood field trip.

Howard Payne University has a lovely campus!
We drove through Howard Payne University and through the Douglas MacArthur memorial. Both are lovely and worth going to. The buildings are fabulous. The bell towers on the campus are cool.
