At Don’s Fish Camp, we’ve been offering just that type of experience to folks all over Central Texas since 1990. Enjoying a day with us on the river is as easy as buying your passes, heading to Don’s supply shop for all your float supply needs, and hopping on our shuttle to head up river. From there, it’s all about relaxation, fun, and taking in the beautiful scenery on the San Marcos River. See you on the water!

    Birthday Float!
I have been coming to Don's Fish camp for a while now, and I love it more and more each time. Even during COVID-19 Don's Fish camp provided us with safety and and ease. The transportation was spaced out and I never felt in harm while floating we were never jammed up next to people in the river. I will definitely be returning this summer!

    Things to know
I always love Don’s but like anything it could use some improvements. They have a great system for getting cars in quickly and wristbands done. Then getting on the bus is where it goes south. The line for the buses should start at the back of the bus so people putting their coolers in will be guaranteed a seat. My husband and son put the cooler on the back and I got on the bus, meanwhile a ton of people followed me and their friend put their cooler on after us. I saved a seat next to me for my husband and son and they didn’t have enough places to sit and had to get off so my husband and son could come on. It was really embarrassing and unfortunate. Then we got to the tubes and the lines to blow up your tube is a good set up. They now have it shaded with more air nozzles.. the problem is that there’s no lines! It’s a huge mess of people not knowing which line they are in. There’s people who clearly don’t know how to blow up the tubes and taking years to do it. It’s just a huge mess. The rest of this is pretty easy going. Just go down the hill and down the stairs into the water. A bit slimy, kind of dangerous but everyone is happy, helpful and kind. Everyone in the river is so awesome, once through the mess it gets to be a blast. Ending at Don’s where they have a rope swing. Helpful staff, etc. People helping keep the river clean, people helping lost people find their friends. It’s a great place and they do care. I always have a great time. Sorry to the people who had to get off the bus though. I felt like such an ass.
