Very helpful!
The gentleman working on the day we visited was super helpful and directed us over to Barley and Board for lunch (which was fantastic!) - this is a great start point for folks new to the area!

Nice Visitors Center
The Discover Denton Welcome Center is located on the historic square and is loaded with maps and brochures on everything Denton and the surrounding area. The woman in the center was extremely helpful as was her young son, who knew his way around the center pretty well also. They sponsor many events as well as a free beer Friday, from 7-9pm when a host of local brewers offer their products. The center also sells tee shirts, regional souvenir items,Univ. of North Texas items, and unique local gifts etc... Make this your 1st stop in Denton, and they are open on Sunday, unlike McKinney's which is closed.
