    Impromptu Roadside Discovery
We were visiting our son who lives in TX. We were on our way to Fredericksburg and were keeping an eye out for local galleries along the way. We saw Daniel's studio along the highway, but he was unfortunately closed. After a day in Fredericksburg on our way back through we saw it was again closed, but there was a car out front. We took a chance and knocked anyway. Daniel answered the door and warmly invited us in. He had actually been in Fredericksburg delivering work to be exhibited on the street the following day. Daniel's work and photography is beautiful. We had the gallery to ourselves and probably talked for an hour. He relayed how he started as a street artist at Disney and worked his way up to lead art director. We purchased several smaller pieces and will make it a point to stop in again on our next Texas visit.
