Hands-on Science Museum - great family fun

I thought this might be geared for much younger children than our high-school age, and it is, however it was a home run hit. The exhibits are amazing, and while "hands-on" can also sometimes mean it will be very limited and elementary, this museum does an amazing range of activities. Craft various paper shapes to experiment with a vertical wind tunnel. Raise a huge bubble curtain and do a group bubble-blow. Shift sands with your hands and see topography recolor from a projector above. Cast your own shadows in front of colored lights to mix colors in their absence (VERY cool). Build marble runs. Stand in a human kaleidoscope. And more. Great value for a nominal admission price!

    Fun for all ages
This is an okay place for children to go to if you're looking for something to do that will captivate your parent's attention and give yourself a little fun. The marble runs are super enjoyable to create with your family and the topographical sand display definitely hooks everyone. So bring your parents and maybe they'll learn a thing or two they didn't know about science!
