Great Track extra good races
We went to the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Feb 2014. We had a great time, weather was 79 degrees. The have recently built this track and have invested alot of time and money to make this a fun family atmosphere. They had a race simulator to entertain the fans and everyone had a great time. The people were friendly lots of fabulous food. Run efficiently.

Great "Grassroots" Racing Action
At $12 (adults) or $5 (kids), you won't find a better deal on a truly fun and entertaining evening. This track is an easy drive from Austin. The regular classes are a good enough reason to come, but check their website for special events too. At this "grassroots" level of racing, you might meet a driver while sitting in the stands (we did). It's a raucous environment to be sure, and my kids prefer to have hearing protection (ear plugs or earmuffs). Personally I like to soak it up in all its unfiltered glory!

Saturday Night Racing
I have been to this race track a few times. The staff is always active and trying to make things better for the racers and fans. Always an enjoyable evening with close dirt track racing.
