Conroe Art League - Madeley Gallery, Texas, United States

5.0 (14 reviews) Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent Ranking #9 in Conroe Art Galleries

First class art

This a beautiful art gallery in a hundred year old building in downtown Conroe. The artwork is fantastic and all price points. They have a new show ever month and a reception with wine and appetizers. They also have classes and workshops for all levels of artists. We had a great visit with some very friendly artists and bought a nice painting too.

If you passed by, you have missed a jewel.
The Gallery at the Madeley, home of the Conroe Art League is a must visit in South Texas. Conroe being 40 miles north of Houston or roughly. Is a up and coming place to live. The art league has been renovated and is trying new things. Thank you to the City of Conroe for this gift. Please don't pass by, located just east of Interstate 45 about maybe a mile or so in the heart of Downtown Conroe. The Madeley building was rebuilt of masonry after a fire. The building was rebuilt in 1911 and is still preserved. Beautiful place to spend an afternoon or a day walking the square. Munch shopping opportunities. Come see the artwork of South Texas artists it will amaze you. No Doubt

    Beautiful and Peaceful
Located in downtown Conroe in a 100 year old building, this gallery is a must see. Great artwork, photography, sculptures and jewelry. It has it all!! When you walk in, it's very peaceful and there are comfortable benches to sit on and appreciated the artwork. In the back is a serene courtyard, to sit and enjoy the weather and see some of the sculptures out there. A hidden jewel in the middle of Conroe.
